Managed Network Controller Module

Network Controller Appliance
Everyone seems to want wireless networks—at least everyone and anyone who doesn’t have to actually set them up and manage them! If you’re one of the latter people and are being compelled to set up wireless networks, you ought to consider installing a centrally managed wireless network. This frees you from having to individually manage wireless access points. Central management also means a more secure network.
We have two managed wireless networks for your consideration. Both are from Hewlett-Packard. The first is a conventional managed network of controller module that installs in a Hewlett-Packard switch and controls up to 156 simple, remote RF emitters. The second is a more feature-rich controller appliance that can control up to 200 wireless access points, and more capable access points. This latter system can be installed on any existing wired network, so you don’t have to have HP Networking equipment to use it. Either managed wireless system is fine, depending on what your planned wireless architecture is and what your requirements for 802.11n are.
Want to spend less on a high quality wireless network? Choose Hewlett-Packard, and then choose the wireless network alternative that best fits your requirements. Already have a ProCurve network? Add a controller to one of your ProCurve switches, and manage the operation and security of your wired and wireless networks from a single console. Don’t have Hewlett-Packard equipment? No problem—add a separate controller and wireless access points to whatever network equipment you do have. Think of a system like Aruba, Meru, or Trapeze, except you get more features and more expansion capability for less money. Either system provides authentication, dynamic access control, and rogue access point identification and automatic self-defense that helps them perform reliably, securely, and with stability.
We can turn around a quote for a managed wireless network within three business days. It never hurts to look. Speaking of looking, we have both wireless systems installed in our bus, and can come to you for a hands-on demo. This makes wireless networking easy, and easy to understand.
