Videoconferencing
Need a great videoconferencing system? We have a complete lineup of large, medium-sized and small videoconferencing units that work together in a single system. Start with a “large” unit that contains many embedded teaching tools that make multimedia presentations and training sessions a snap. Add “medium” sized units at the remote locations to give those locations a full-featured conferencing set. Add PC-based software and webcams to PC’s at the smallest sites to provide an inexpensive—in fact, free—videoconferencing system. And when it’s completed, it all hangs together as one single, H.323-compliant system that can interoperate with other types of systems, so you can call and talk with a Polycom system.
Setting up a video call is easy. We pair the system with a set of highly-secured Internet-based IP phones (see the voice on IP section), and starting a videoconference with any other location is as simple as making a phone call. Know how to use a phone? Then you know how to make a videoconference with from one to many other sites. Dial the site you want to videoconference with, and then push the flashing video button on the phone. That’s it. The phones handle all of the voice with super-encrypted, high fidelity sound, leaving your videoconferencing bandwidth for video.
Ever have a videoconference “freeze” when the network changes? Our system doesn’t freeze, it just compensates for the changed bandwidth by adjusting the resolution. You can keep conferencing through any network problem short of a total service interruption.
How many other systems sit largely unused because people can’t work them? Not with this system—all you have to know how to do is use a telephone! All conversations can be encrypted, if you’re videoconferencing across the Internet.

We also have a PC-based conferencing system linked to the Mitel IP telephony product. This system allows you to call any other networked user and set up an ad-hoc videoconference. You can multicast to many locations and collaboratively share desktops and documents, do secure chat, and do two-way videoconferencing from the PC using any standard webcam. You can also use this to do webcasts without having to buy that service from a third-party provider. In fact, if you do webcasts on a regular basis, this product will quickly pay for itself. This is how we do our webcasts, and how you might be served if you ask for a remote presentation.

Video broadcasting
You can broadcast high-quality video across your networks using VBrick’s products. We have clients who transport broadcast-quality video to cable television systems across Georgia using VBricks. We have a client who uses two VBricks to create a two-way, high-definition conferencing system between Savannah and Atlanta. We also have school systems that run multiple channels of video into their systems’ PC’s. You can also broadcast video across your networks and out to the Internet to anyone in the world with a broadband connection using VBrick’s VBPresenter software and hardware combo application. All you need in most situations is one or two small, hardened network appliances. You don’t have to install any software on your PC’s to support the delivery of high-quality, full-motion video. You can also start video broadcasting with an investment of less than $5,000. Select this link to see a demonstration of VBrick’s Internet presentation system—over the Internet, and to you just like you’d present a full-motion video presentation to your viewers.

Other video products
We also offer a suite of other networked video products that do security and surveillance, video serving, and conferencing tasks. None of these requires a large up-front investment in technology, and you can implement a low-cost single service and grow it gracefully into a larger system one item at a time. Give us a call if you have any video distribution or storage requirements, and it’s pretty certain that we have a set of dependable products to fill the requirement.
